1. Confirmation of demands:
Workplace, period of service, number of translators required, language, gender, job description, job type, work experience or competency, working environment, insurance status, remuneration plan for translators, and employee benefits.
2. Matching translators:
Screen translators: Confirm translators’ willingness to provide services - test translator’s language proficiency - assess translator’s work competence.
3. Confirmation of translator by the client:
The client selects translators with appropriate résumés - arranges for interviews - selects the translator(s) for secondary interview(s) - confirms any logistics for their work and travel schedule.
4. Customized translator training:
Give the translators any extra cultural or professional training that may be required for the project.
5. Customized translator management program:
Develop daily work plans and regulatory measures.
Develop an incentive system for translators.
Establish an evaluation system for assessing the performance of the translators.
Offer psychological care for translators on a regular basis.
6. On-the-job translator:
Implement the translator management program, track the translator’s services throughout, help customers solve problems and deal with unexpected issues.
7. After-sales service:
Record the customer’s feedback, make a project summary, and record any matters to pay attention to in order to implement better service in the future.
